Your skills, your calendar,
your reputation.
TALNTD is a local service marketplace for the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman. If you clean, fix, install, service, teach, style or repair for a living, this is a place to be found, to run your bookings properly, and to build a review history that belongs to you rather than to a group chat.
Free to join. No listing fee, no subscription, no commission.
A new marketplace needs providers before it has customers.
TALNTD is new. We are not going to open by telling you a queue of customers is already waiting, because that would be the first lie in a relationship that only works if you can trust what we say. Here is the honest version, and why going early is still the right call.
Own your category in your city
Customers browse by category and city. Being one of the first three electricians listed in your area is worth considerably more than being the two hundredth a year from now. Early listings are the ones people see first, and the ones they remember.
A rating takes real time to build
Reviews on TALNTD can only be left after a completed booking. That is deliberate, and it means a strong rating cannot be bought or rushed. Starting now is how you have something worth showing by the time your city gets busy.
The downside is an hour of your time
There is no listing fee, no subscription and no commission. Setting up a profile costs you the time it takes to write your services down and photograph a few jobs. If nothing comes of it, you have lost an afternoon.
Tell us where you work
We are opening city by city across the six GCC countries. If you tell us where you are and what you do, that is a signal we use when deciding where to push next. Email [email protected].
How a customer actually finds you.
No bidding wars, no paying to appear higher, no lead packs sold to five people at once. Four honest steps between a customer having a problem and you being on site.
They search their category and city
Someone in your area opens the app and looks for what you do. Results are filtered to their country and city, so you are not competing with a listing four hundred kilometres away.
They read your profile
Your services, your pricing model, photos of your work and your rating. A verification badge tells them you are a real, identified person rather than an anonymous phone number.
They message you
Chat happens inside the app, so you can ask for a photo of the leak, send a voice note, share a document or drop a location before anyone commits to anything.
They book a slot you are genuinely free for
The only times they can pick are the ones your availability settings allow. No calls at 11pm asking if you can come tomorrow morning when you already have a full day.
Your profile is the whole pitch. Photos of finished work, a clear description of what you do and do not take on, and the languages you speak will do more for you than anything else on this page. It is the difference between being scrolled past and being messaged.
You decide when you work.
Three settings control everything a customer is allowed to book. Set them once, change them whenever your week changes.
Working hours
The days and hours you actually take jobs. Everything outside them is simply not offered to anyone.
Lead time
How much notice you need before a job starts, so nobody books you for a slot forty minutes from now while you are under a sink.
How far ahead
The furthest into the future someone can book you. Useful if your schedule genuinely is not knowable three months out.
The work that pays is the work that comes back.
A weekly clean, a monthly AC service, a standing Tuesday lesson. Recurring bookings are how a local service business stops being an endless run of strangers and starts being a schedule you can plan around.
Set the cadence once
Weekly, every two weeks, monthly, or a custom pattern that fits how the work really runs. Agree it at the start and the visits schedule themselves.
Skip a single visit
The customer is travelling, or you are. One visit comes out and the rest of the series carries on untouched.
Move one without moving all
Reschedule an individual visit to a different day or time. The pattern stays intact, so you are not rebuilding the whole arrangement over one clash.
End it on terms agreed up front
A whole series can be cancelled, but under a notice policy both sides accepted when the series started. No surprise on either side.
Price the job properly, in writing.
Most arguments in this trade come from a number said out loud in a corridor and remembered differently a week later. TALNTD makes you write it down, line by line, and keeps the record.
Scope it in chat
Ask for photos, send a voice note, share a document, get the exact location. Understand the job before you put a number on it.
Send an itemised quote
Break it into labour, parts and anything else, with a line for each. The customer sees exactly what they are paying for instead of one unexplained total.
They accept, or they counter
A customer can come back with their own numbers. You can revise and send again. It is a negotiation, conducted like adults, with both sides looking at the same document.
The whole history stays visible
Every quote, every counter and every revision is kept on the booking. If anyone later remembers it differently, the record is right there.
How payment works today. TALNTD is launching without in-app payments. You agree a price in the app, and you settle it directly with the customer however suits you both. We will say so clearly, here and in the app, before that ever changes.
A rating you earned, not one you bought.
If reviews can be faked, they are worth nothing to the people who deserve them. Ours are tied to real bookings for exactly that reason.
Only after a completed booking
No review can exist without a job behind it. That is the single rule that makes the numbers on this platform mean something.
Photos, and the option to be anonymous
Customers can attach photos to a review and can choose to leave it anonymously. Good work photographs well, which works in your favour.
Your rating is yours alone
Provider ratings and business ratings are tracked separately. Work you do as an individual is scored as your own, not folded into a company average.
Why we ask for your ID, and why that helps you.
Every provider and every business submits a government-issued ID and a selfie at signup. Customers are not asked for identity documents. That asymmetry is deliberate, and it is on your side.
It raises the floor
A customer is letting a stranger into their home. Verification is the reason they will consider someone they have never met, and it filters out anyone unwilling to be accountable for their own work.
It matters when something goes wrong
Disputes happen even between reasonable people. Knowing exactly who is on the platform is what lets us look at a complaint seriously instead of shrugging at an anonymous account.
What happens to your documents. Identity records are held for safety and dispute resolution and are only accessible to TALNTD staff carrying out a legitimate review. They are not shown to customers, and they are not part of your public profile. The privacy policy sets out exactly what is kept and for how long.
Work in the language you actually think in.
The people who keep the Gulf running come from everywhere, and the language gap costs good providers real jobs. A customer who cannot explain the problem tends to go with whoever they can talk to, not whoever is best.
Chat translates automatically
You write in yours, they read in theirs. A message sent in Malayalam arrives in Arabic, and the reply comes back the other way, without either of you copying anything into a translation app.
The app itself is translated too
Not just messages. Menus, bookings, quotes and notifications all run in the language you pick, so nothing about managing your own work depends on reading English.
The complete price list.
This is not a trial, a promotional period or an introductory rate with a countdown attached. It is what TALNTD costs a provider right now.
No listing fee
Creating a profile and listing your services costs nothing.
No subscription
There is no monthly plan, and no paid tier that ranks you higher.
No commission
We do not take a cut of what you agree with a customer.
If that ever changes. A marketplace has to pay for itself eventually, and we would rather say that plainly than pretend otherwise. If a fee is introduced, we will tell you before it starts and it will be shown clearly before you accept any booking. Nothing will be taken quietly out of a job you already agreed.
Set up a provider profile.
Five steps. The longest part is writing your services down properly, and that is the part worth doing well.
Get the TALNTD app
Everything happens in the app, on your phone. If you cannot find it in your country yet, email [email protected] and we will tell you the moment it is available where you are.
Choose the provider role
Pick your country, create an account and select provider. If you already have a customer account, you can add the provider role to it rather than starting again.
Verify your identity
A government-issued ID and a selfie. This is required for providers and businesses, it is held securely, and it is what earns you the badge customers look for.
Build your profile and list your services
What you do, where you cover, your rates and pricing model, the languages you speak, and photos of work you are proud of. Add services one at a time.
Set your availability
Working hours, lead time and how far ahead you can be booked. Once that is in, customers can only reach for slots you are genuinely free for, and you are live.
One account, more than one role. Customer, provider and business all live on the same login. You can hold several and switch between them without signing out, so booking a plumber for your own flat does not require a second account.
Want to talk to a person before you commit to anything? Write to [email protected]. A real member of the team answers, and we will tell you honestly whether your city is ready for you yet.
The things people ask us first.
What does it actually cost me?
Nothing right now. No listing fee, no subscription and no commission on what you agree with a customer. If we introduce a fee later, we will tell you before it starts and show it clearly before you accept any booking.
Do I have to accept every booking that comes in?
No. A booking arrives as a request. You can ask questions in chat, send a quote, negotiate it, or decline. Nothing is confirmed until you have agreed to it.
Which countries are you in?
The UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman. Coverage inside each country is filling in city by city, so tell us where you work at [email protected] and we will factor it in.
What happens to my ID and selfie?
They are held for safety and dispute resolution and are only accessible to TALNTD staff carrying out a legitimate review. They are never shown to customers or added to your public profile. See the privacy policy for the detail.
Can I be a customer as well?
Yes. Customer, provider and business are roles on one account. You can hold more than one and switch between them without signing out. If you also run a company with staff, read for businesses.
How do I get paid?
Directly by the customer. TALNTD is launching without in-app payments, so you agree a price in the app and settle it between yourselves however suits you both. Nothing passes through us.
What if nobody in my city is on TALNTD yet?
Then you are early, which is the point. Your profile costs nothing to keep and is ready the day customers arrive. Email us and we will keep you posted on your city specifically rather than sending you a generic newsletter.
Landed on the wrong page?
You have a team
If you employ staff and send them out to jobs, a business account is the right shape. List services under one brand, invite your team, assign work, and give each person their own login.
