Something not working?
Here is how to reach a human.
Almost every issue is faster to solve from inside the app, because a request raised there arrives with your account, your role and the booking already attached. Email is here for when you cannot get in at all.
Two ways in. One of them is much faster.
If you can sign in, use the app. If you cannot, use email.
In the app, which is the fastest route
Open TALNTD, go to the Profile tab, find the Support section, and tap Contact support. Pick the category that fits, and if the issue is about a specific booking, attach that booking from the picker so we can see it without asking you for the reference.
You can add screenshots to the request after you have submitted it. Our replies come back into the same thread, and you get a notification when one lands, so nothing gets lost in a spam folder.
By email, for when you cannot sign in
Write to [email protected]. Send it from the email address on your TALNTD account wherever you can, because that is the simplest way for us to confirm the account is yours before we touch it.
Use email for login problems, account recovery, data access or deletion requests, and anything where the app itself is the thing that is broken.
Looking for product answers rather than help with your account? The FAQ covers how booking, verification, recurring work and reviews behave. There is also a Help and FAQ screen inside the app, in the same Profile tab as Contact support.
What to include so we can actually act on it.
A report we can reproduce gets fixed. A report we cannot turns into three rounds of questions first. These take a minute and save a week.
- The booking ID, if the issue involves a booking. It looks like B49182374 and is printed on every booking tile and at the top of the booking details screen. Attaching the booking in the app does this for you.
- Which role you were in at the time: customer, provider, business or employee. The same account can hold more than one, and the app behaves differently in each.
- What you expected to happen, and what happened instead. Two sentences is plenty. "I tapped Accept and nothing happened" tells us far more than "the app is broken".
- A screenshot or a short screen recording. If there was an error message, capture the message itself rather than describing it.
- When it happened, roughly, and whether it has happened more than once or only that one time.
- Your device and app version: for example iPhone 14, iOS 18. It matters more often than you would think.
Please do not send passwords, one-time codes, or photographs of your ID by email. We will never ask you for any of them. If we need to verify an identity document, that happens inside the app.
Short answers to the things people write in about.
Account and login
If you signed up with an email address and password, use the "Forgot password" link on the sign-in screen. If you signed up with Google or Apple, sign in with that same provider rather than a password, because no password was ever set on the account.
Stuck on email or phone verification? Check your spam folder first, then request a new code. If codes never arrive at all, email [email protected] and tell us the address or number you used.
You can add another role to an existing account and switch between roles without signing out. Adding a provider or business role means completing identity verification for that role.
Bookings, changes and cancellations
Every booking has a details screen with its full history: the estimate, any counter-offers, the agreed price, and each status change. That screen is the first place to look, and it is also the fastest thing to screenshot for us.
Either party can cancel through the app, subject to the booking's current status. Rescheduling is a proposal: you offer a new date and time, and the other party confirms it. Recurring series can have individual visits skipped or rescheduled, or the whole series ended.
TALNTD does not charge a cancellation fee, because no money moves through TALNTD. See the topic below.
Prices, payment and refunds
TALNTD does not process payments. You agree a price in the app, and you settle it directly with the other party, in whatever way suits you both. We do not process, hold or transmit funds, we take no commission or service fee, and we collect no card or bank-account details.
That has a consequence worth being clear about: we cannot issue a refund, reverse a charge, or hold money in escrow, because we never held it. If a payment between you and the other party has gone wrong, it is a matter between the two of you, and we would still like to hear about it, because a pattern of it tells us something about that account.
If we introduce in-app payments later, we will say so clearly, in the app and in our Terms, before it happens.
A problem with a provider or a customer
The service contract is between the customer and the provider or business. TALNTD is not a party to it and does not arbitrate the substance of a service dispute, so we cannot rule on whether work was done properly or order anyone to pay anyone.
What we can do is act on conduct. If someone is abusive, misrepresents who they are, no-shows repeatedly, or breaks our Terms, tell us. Raise it from Contact support in the app, choose the dispute category, and attach the booking so we can read the message history and the booking record for ourselves.
Identity verification
Providers and businesses submit a government-issued ID and a selfie at signup. Until that step is complete you cannot publish services or accept bookings. Customers are never asked for identity documents.
Those records are held on file for safety, fraud prevention and dispute resolution, and are accessible only to TALNTD support staff for legitimate review. What we do with them is set out in our Privacy Policy.
If your submission was rejected or the scanner will not read your document, try again in better light with the whole document inside the frame. If it still fails, email us and we will look at the account.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account yourself from the Profile tab. The exact path, what gets deleted, what we are obliged to keep and why, and how to request deletion if you can no longer sign in, are all on the Delete your account page.
One thing to know before you start: you cannot delete an account while it still has active bookings. Complete or cancel them first.
Reporting abuse or a safety concern
If anyone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. We are not an emergency service and cannot respond at that speed.
To report a user, open the conversation, use the menu in the top corner of the chat, and choose Report user. You can also raise it from Contact support in the Profile tab and pick the report category. Include the booking and describe what happened.
In-app chat is subject to automated scanning for policy violations and flagged conversations may be reviewed by TALNTD staff, which is set out in our Privacy Policy. Safety reports are the ones we look at first.
Your data: access, correction and export
You can edit most of your personal details directly in the Profile tab. For a copy of the personal data we hold about you, or to have something corrected that you cannot change yourself, email [email protected] from the address on your account.
Your rights, and the law they come from, are set out in our Privacy Policy.
What to honestly expect.
We are a small team and TALNTD is early. Every message that comes in is read by a person, not filtered by a bot, and that is the part we intend to keep as we grow.
Most requests get a first reply within a couple of business days. Safety reports and anything involving a user's wellbeing go to the front of the queue. Bug reports may get a quick acknowledgement first and a real answer later, once someone has reproduced the problem.
We are not going to publish a guaranteed response time, because at our size we could not honour it, and a promise we break is worse than no promise. If something is taking longer than it should, reply on the same thread and it will surface again. If we need more time, we will tell you rather than go quiet.
One request per issue is better than several. Duplicates split the history across threads and slow everything down.
Still stuck?
Tell us what happened and we will take it from there. Include the booking ID if there is one.
